Aviemore is just off the A9 and is approximately 80 miles north of Perth, 2 hours by car. Inverness is 32 miles
north of Aviemore, 40 minutes by car.
Aviemore has a train station, and is also served by regular buses both from the south (Perth) and the north (Inverness).
